The Rhine invites you to a magical getaway to discover Europe’s most beautiful and iconic Christmas markets. In an authentic and welcoming setting, you’ll experience the best of the local traditions associated with this festive season: mulled wine, bredeles, and holiday lights come together to create a unique atmosphere that blends the charm of Alsace with that of the Rhine region. From Strasbourg to Cologne, via Basel or Freiburg depending on the itinerary, Gothic cathedrals sparkle with a thousand lights and the scent of spices fills the cobblestone streets: a total immersion in the magic of Advent.
From the banks of the Seine adorned with Parisian lights to the quays of Vienna and Budapest, where the illuminations are reflected in the dark waters of the Danube, via Dresden and its centuries-old markets along the Elbe, and the Provençal villages bathed in soft winter light, CroisiEurope offers a range of destinations to experience the magic of the holidays in a whole new way. Each river reveals its own take on Christmas, blending Baroque architecture, Germanic traditions, the French art of living, and Mediterranean charm.
For travelers seeking a less conventional Christmas, CroisiEurope opens up other horizons that are just as enchanting. The Flemish canals of Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp are decked out with garlands and chalets for markets with a Nordic elegance, while Andalusia offers a Christmas in the sun, featuring flamenco, blooming orange trees, and the colorful markets of Seville and Córdoba. Finally, Venice and its lagoon are transformed into a fairy-tale setting during the holiday season, with its illuminated palaces and canals creating one of Europe’s most beautiful winter scenes.
A really enjoyable stay on board. The crew was top-notch. Their kindness, their smiles—everything was perfect. Cocktails, meals, breakfast, etc.—everything was fantastic. Flawless organization; a well-oiled machine. The weather wasn’t great, but there was nothing anyone could do about it. The tour guide was fantastic. For a first cruise, everything was perfect. It makes me want to do it again.
