From Naples to Sicily, sailing along the Amalfi Coast aboard La Belle de l'Adriatique,
immerse yourself in the captivating history of our civilization as you discover numerous Roman ruins!

The journey begins in Naples, whose historic center lies at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, before exploring the ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, striking reminders of a lost civilization. The city of Naples itself holds many surprises: its bustling alleyways, the famous Via San Gregorio Armeno with its nativity scene workshops, its rich flavors, and its unique character make it one of Italy’s most vibrant and endearing cities. A colorful stopover before setting sail southward.
The cruise then stops in Tropea, Calabria, perched on its red tuff cliff above a turquoise sea of the deepest blue, one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Mediterranean. Next comes Messina, whose legendary strait, a millennia-old crossroads between two seas, was once contested by the mythological monsters Charybdis and Scylla. From there, a cruise off the Aeolian Islands and an excursion to Mount Etna and Taormina make for a Sicilian interlude that is as spectacular as it is memorable.
The ship then sails to Salerno, the gateway to the Amalfi Coast, one of the most beautiful in the world, where Amalfi unfolds amid golden cliffs and azure seas. A stopover in Paestum, home to some of Europe’s best-preserved Greek temples, and a gala evening on board highlight this journey. The journey concludes with an excursion to Capri and Anacapri, followed by an evening of Neapolitan song and dance, before returning to Naples for a final glimpse of this sunny, bountiful, and unforgettable corner of Italy.
As is always the case with CroisiEurope, we had a wonderful cruise in the sunshine.
